Circumstances, or more specifically Monet Parham-Lee is forcing me to write again about a subject I have already harangued you about, twice, and that is the government getting involved in telling us what to eat. Monet has initiated a lawsuit against McDonalds claiming they use toys to market directly to children. Helping her in this waste of our time and tax dollars is the CSPI (Center for Science in the Public Interest). You have to look up this group on your own to learn about the size and the special type of their battiness.
Monet seems to have a problem with some of the most fundamental parenting skills. But I cannot possibly explain how inept she is better than she can herself. Here is what she said, "We have to say no to our kids so many times and McDonald's makes that so much harder to do. I object to the fact that McDonald's is getting into my kids' heads without my permission and actually changing what my kids want to eat."
Not to be “out dimwitted” by Monet, the executive director of CSPI, Michael Jackson accused McDonald's of "one of the most insidious marketing practices–dangling a toy in front of a small child." Jacobson called the practice "unfair, deceptive and illegal' in California and many other states. "The food industry has a responsibility not to intrude into families by using sleazy marketing techniques getting kids to pester their parents."
Cry...laugh...your choice.
